    Emily Parke Crawford

Emily Parke Crawford, Artist & Owner

    Bio

    Emily Parke Crawford

Emily Crawford went to Hamilton College to be recruited for the CIA.  She graduated a Studio Art Major.

Emily has spent the past 20 + years working as a web designer and online marketer, but her true passion is clay.  Her works main influence is that of the Sea.  Emily grew up spending all of her summers at her family’s ancestral home in Nova Scotia.  Her days revolved around the ebb and flow of the 40 foot tide, which determined whether you would find her swimming, skipping rocks, exploring the inlets of the Sissaboo River or  finding treasures and washed up sea life while mud flatting.  It is this love for the sea and salt air that inspires Emily’s work, and you will find this influence through her signature sea birds and the oceanic colors she uses to glaze her pottery.
