Make your Pet or Farm Animal 

We are kicking off our summer camp with a nod to the Washington County Fair’s Youth Art Competition!  Come spend the week with Em making a replica of your favorite farm animal or pet for submission in the Fair!

When: July 10-14th 9am – Noon
What to send before: Please take photos of your animal from every side: front, back, left side, right side and if you can, from above.  Please send these, along with your favorite photo of your pet to emily@crawfordislandart.com the week before camp begins!  

Each day we will take a half hour break for morning snack and some free play time before heading back into the studio to complete the work of the day.  When our pieces are complete, we will paint them with underglazes and load them into the kiln!  When we are finished cleaning up, we will head outside to play until pickup time at noon.

These camps are intended for school aged children ages 5 and up!

Cost: $150/week which includes morning snack, all materials and firing fees.

Covid: We will follow the CDC guidelines for Covid protocols.  

Please have kids come in play clothes that you don’t mind getting clay/glaze on.  On Friday, we will head to the splash pad in Gannon Park for an end of camp splash!
